Miele gets the year off to a hot start with the launch of the Chef Series microwave oven (Model M 8260-1) – its first microwave made for the U.S. marketplace. The most unique attribute of the Miele Chef Series microwave is its Clean Touch Steel™ finish that resists fingerprints, scratches and cleans up with soap and water. It’s a genuine stainless steel finish that doesn't require special polishes or cleaners. True to its name, Chef Series microwave oven goes beyond its sleek good looks to deliver high-performance features including a Keep Warm function, 11 automatic programs and a programmable memory that helps stages meals.

- The microwave has programmable memory to stage meals inside. For example, defrost then cook at ½ power and finish on full power with times set for each cycle.
- There are 11 automatic programs and a maximum 900 watts power. Five weight-based Defrost programs for Steak, Ground Meat, Chicken, Cakes, Breads. And six weight-based Automatic programs for Fresh and Frozen Foods - Fresh: Vegetables, Potatoes and Fish / Frozen: Vegetables, Frozen Dinner and Casseroles.
- The ergonomic dial offers effortless control over time and power to cook with total precision.
- A Keep Warm function will operate for 15 minutes if a meal is forgotten inside and will provide a very low temperature to keep food warm until the door is opened.
